Music has been one of, if not the most, identifying and important factors of my life. Being a cultural phenomenon, it is something people relate to on emotional, instinctive, intellectual and many other levels.

I take a great deal of personal satisfaction when one of my students begins to really understand music and goes on to a professional career with it.

I also experience great joy when my music reaches someone else on a emotional or spiritual level.
